Throughout Africa, there is a great cultural tradition of beautification and personal decoration, with each culture representing themselves differently and with great pride. Throughout the years these traditions have been slowly put aside in favour of Western norms, only being expressed on special days and rare situations. Fingerprint Cosmetics wants to refocus on that cultural pride and recapture the hearts of the nations by providing quality colour cosmetics with a focus on cultural power and tradition.

We want to change the landscape of colour cosmetics for South Africa and eventually greater Africa using you – the people – to drive this change. Fingerprint Cosmetics represents a shift in industry bias, and promises a more inclusive, quality product. Our cultural heritage is the fingerprint of Africa, which is captured and represented in our logo.
